NHS Direct available if English is not your language of choice

NHS Direct's contact page is available in 12 languages. These are located at the bottom of the left hand column.

If English is not your clients preferred language, NHS can provide confidential interpreters, in many languages, within minutes. All you need to do is state in English the language you use. Alternatively, someone can make the call on clients behalf and wait until an interpreter is on the line before client take the phone.
While the service is essentially patient focused, NHS Direct has confirmed that as long as the patient is with you, then you may use their service.
