European Social Fund

Information on applying for funding by people from other countries including refugees and asylum seekers (Last updated April 2006). Asylum seekers are not usually eligible for ESF support, but refugees are.

Allen Lane Foundation

This foundation makes grants for work all over the UK (not overseas). Trustees give priority to work outside London. Refugees and asylum seekers are listed as priority groups (grants from £250-£10,000).

Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund

This fund supports organisations working with children and young people between the ages of 12 and 25 in the categories listed. In the category 'young refugees and asylum seekers' - they do extend the age groups.
Please ensure that you read the criteria very carefully to see what can be funded.

National Youth Agency

NYA supports small youth work development projects (for example, a small grant was given for young Somali refugees).
