A national cancer information service; contains detailed information on specific cancers and cancer treatments, coping with cancer, living with cancer, and they have a cancer telephone information service Monday to Friday 9am-7pm. Because the service is so much in demand, the lines are often busy. Telephone 020 7613 2121 or Free phone 0808 800 1234. Factsheets available.

Cancer Backup also offers 12 additional national freephone helplines specifically for speakers of the country’s most common ethnic minority languages: Arabic, Bengali, Cantonese, French, Greek, Gujerati, Hindi, Polish, Punjabi, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese.
